NORWAY: How can photography give refugees a voice in their new community? What happens when refugess represent their own experience through photography?

In the summer of 2017, a photography course became part of the introductory program for newly arrived refugees in Namsos municipality. The course was based on the Photovoice methodology and consisted of basic photographic training, integrating theory and practice, and a concluding exhibition.
